Throughout the event, we are bringing students together with panels, presentations, and institutions present in the fair area. I extend my thanks to all stakeholders who have contributed to this process.”

“Higher education plays a leading role in the development of human capital”

Our university’s Acting Rector and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk URSAVAŞ stated that higher education institutions are not only producers of knowledge but also play a fundamental role in the development of human capital, stating,“Higher education institutions are not limited to the production, sharing, or storage of knowledge; they also assume a leading role in the development of our human capital. As the academic community, we are obliged to solve the problems of the business world and support the employment of human capital there.”

Prof. Dr. URSAVAŞ drew attention to the importance of developing interdisciplinary solutions to today’s multidimensional problems and continued his remarks as follows: “Challenges can no longer be solved with classical methods. Therefore, universities must revise themselves, update their programs, and provide new environments for the development of students’ knowledge and skills. Moreover, a livable environment is an inseparable part of this process. I also thank our Metropolitan Municipality Mayor for the projects that contribute to Trabzon’s scientific ecosystem.”

“Our greatest strength is our youth, who will transform knowledge into human capital”
