Majid Nasser Al Kahali, head of the Student Counseling Center at Sultan Qaboos University, and Saeed Salem Al Hajri, a computer expert in the Student Counseling Center at Sultan Qaboos University, paid a visit to KTU Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah Çuvalcı.

The Director of the Student Counseling Center remarked that the center consists of different counseling services, and they organize 34 different programs for both students and staff each semester. Within the scope of the programs, it is aimed to assist students and staff from academic, cultural, personal, and professional aspects. It is stated that the programs are free of charge, but events that take more than one day require some amount of fee. It is also highlighted that participants are given certificates for their participation in these programs.

Visiting different universities to have information about different student support services designed to assist students’ and staff’s development, the team remarked that they had chosen KTU because it is an old and experienced university. During the visit, it was emphasized that there are no students from Oman at KTU, but there could be cooperation if desired. The visit ended with good wishes.
