In addition to its success in program-based quality assurance, the Faculty of Engineering has also reached a significant milestone in institutional quality management. Having successfully completed the Stage 1 and Stage 2 Certification Audits conducted by the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) in July 2026, the Faculty of Engineering at Karadeniz Technical University has been awarded the TS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certificate.

The certification confirms that the Faculty's:

Education and Training Processes,
Research and Development Processes, and
Management Processes

are managed in accordance with internationally recognized Quality Management System standards.

As a result of this achievement, the Faculty has also become eligible to receive the IQNET (International Certification Network) Certificate, issued through the world's leading international network of certification bodies. This certification further validates the international recognition and credibility of the Faculty's Quality Management System, demonstrating its compliance with globally accepted quality management principles.
