Civil Servant Academy Secure E-Commerce Training

The "Secure E-Commerce" training, planned for all personnel by Dr. Mustafa Bilgehan İmamoğlu, a faculty member of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Karadeniz Technical University, was successfully conducted via the Karadeniz Technical University Distance Education System. This training served as the closing session of MODULE-2 training program conducted within the scope of the Civil Servant Academy.

During the training program, Dr. İmamoğlu highlighted the security risks that may be encountered in online shopping and sales transactions; he provided participants with comprehensive information on how to minimize these risks. He particularly focused on the protection of personal data, the use of secure payment methods, identifying fake websites, and precautions against fraud attempts.

During the training, İmamoğlu emphasized that "user awareness is the most important security layer in every transaction made in the digital environment," highlighting the importance of personnel acting consciously and carefully. He also stated that secure e-commerce habits would prevent potential losses at both corporate and individual levels.

The training, which took place with the active participation of the attendees, included practical explanations through case studies. At the end of the training, it was observed that the participants' awareness of the subject had increased.

We would like to thank Dr. Mustafa Bilgehan İMAMOĞLU, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, for his contributions to the training, and all the participants.
