Associate Professors Dr. Ekrem BAHÇEKAPILI and Dr. Muhammet BERİGEL from our department paid an academic visit to the Faculty of Political Science at the University of Zagreb between April 13-16, 2026, as part of the Erasmus+ Staff Mobility program. During the visit, opportunities for academic and institutional cooperation between the two institutions were evaluated; and discussions were held on research, internationalization, and project development. The EMIYA, GÜVEN, and SCALD projects, conducted by our department's faculty members, were presented; and potential collaborative work opportunities in data science and AI-supported research in social sciences, digital transformation, sustainability, and social innovation were discussed. The meetings also covered Erasmus+ staff and student mobility, joint scientific research, international project applications, and potential future academic collaborations; the visit aimed to contribute to strengthening relations between the two institutions.
