Track women's graduation rate (2025)

Karadeniz Technical University systematically tracks women’s graduation rates as part of its institutional monitoring and reporting processes. Data on enrolled students and graduates, including gender-disaggregated information, are maintained continuously and up to date by the University’s Student Affairs Department (Öğrenci İşleri Daire Başkanlığı). This enables the University to monitor graduation outcomes by gender and to evaluate women’s participation and completion rates across academic programmes on a regular basis.

The Student Affairs Department is the institutional unit responsible for maintaining official student and graduate records. Relevant student statistics and graduation data are generated from the University’s student information systems and are updated dynamically as changes occur in student status and graduation records. Therefore, the data used to monitor women’s graduation rates are not collected on an ad hoc basis for reporting purposes, but form part of the University’s continuously maintained institutional data infrastructure.

In addition to maintaining these records internally, the Student Affairs Department periodically publishes official student and graduate statistics through its institutional website. The Department’s webpage provides dedicated sections for student statistics, including annual student numbers and graduate student numbers, thereby ensuring transparency and public accessibility of institutional data. The continuous collection and periodic publication of these data enable Karadeniz Technical University to monitor changes in women’s graduation patterns over time and provide an evidence base for evaluating gender equality in access to and successful completion of higher education.

  • Student Affairs Department – Institutional Statistics and Reports: The Department’s website includes official sections for annual student numbers and graduate student numbers, demonstrating the institutional and periodic reporting of student and graduation statistics.
