“8th KTU Vocational Promotion Fair” was organized at our University on 22-23 May 2024 in order to provide secondary and high school students studying in Trabzon and surrounding provinces to learn more about the professions and departments they target during the transition to higher education.

Academic and administrative staff working in the relevant units and departments of our University and many students attended the fair held on 22-23 May 2024 at Prof. Dr. Osman Turan Culture and Congress Center.

At the promotional stands, which were equipped with products that are the concrete outputs of the trainings given in different departments and units of our university and attracted great interest, students were given comprehensive presentations about the relevant departments and professions. Students, who interacted directly with the academicians of the relevant department, received information about all the subjects they were curious about. Welcoming more than 2 thousand visitors, the fair attracted great interest.

Expressing his thoughts about the fair, our Rector Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI said, “As an institution, we offer guidance to our students in their university and profession choices with the 8th KTU and Vocational Promotion Fair. The purpose of the 8th KTU Vocational Promotion Fair is to provide students who are in the process of transition to higher education with a visionary perspective and to equip them with institutional knowledge in order to use their preferences in favor of our University.”
